There is much to be seen just off the highways of southern Utah. It's like another world, a strange and undiscovered one, exists within the realms of what I thought was the familiar. It's delightful. Adventures such as today's drive along the old highways fill me with a voracious hunger to scout out the world, if not the whole world, then at least my own corner of it.
Today's photo is that of shoes dusty from a lakeside walk and a jaunt through mining town ruins.
